This device augments model REDBV3 with a preinstalled external sensor that provides temperature and humidity. This is an interesting addition for locations at which you would like to obtain temperature and humidity information. The integrated 18" long cable allows you to position the sensor behind the tree on which the module is installed. As a result, your temperature measurements will be much less influenced by the sunlight throughout the day.
